występowanie
Common. Summer-fall, gregarious in coniferous and hardwood forest, most often under Pinus, on different types of soil.
wartość (Importance)
Edible. There are many simillar species so not recommended because of species confusion.
uwagi (Remarks)
There are many gray Tricholoma species. Tricholoma terreum belongs to smaller ones, has grayish lamellae and unchanging flesh with farinaceous odour. Sometimes as separate specie is described Tricholoma myomyces - with lighter cap, lamellae are cream without gray tones, stipe white, in young specimes with trace of cortina on the stipe.
